Cool photo, right? This aerial photo captured Marsh Island in Portersville Bay, AL in December 2022. We’ve been working for the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and other partners to restore this state-owned island and provide habitat for wildlife, especially birds. The project included bringing in sediment and designing a structure to contain it as well as transplanting more than 258,000 plants!
